I just got back from my first "weekend" trip. Since Zuggy's is closed Wednesday and Thursdays, we refer to that as our weekend. I went to Lake Garda, in Italy... with 4 boys because the other 2 girls that were supposed to come changed their mind at the last minute. It was definitely quite different from any trip I've ever taken, but it was a lot of fun. We rented a van and of course got lost so the 4 hour trip turned into a 6 hour one. But the drive through Austria and Italy was beautiful. We were planning on camping but did not have a specific location in mind. So we just drove around til we found a good campsite. And by camping I mean sleeping outside in sleeping bags because we did not actually have a tent. Luckily the weather was perfect and much warmer than here in Garmisch. We spent the day in at the lake and walking around town, and of course tried some Italian vino and pizza!
